POVevolving Inaugural Show at new China Town Gallery.
We've opened a gallery on Chung King Road in China Town...
POVevolving is very proud to announce the opening of our new gallery/event space and fine art printing studio in the heart of Los Angeles’ China Town. After over a month of renovations - and with the help of some amazing friends, we have created a truly beautifully exhibition space. Our 1200 square foot space will be home to monthly exhibitions of works by emerging contemporary artists in a wide range of mediums.
In addition to formal exhibitions we intend on hosting a wide range of creative happenings including, but certainly not limited to: figure drawing nights, movie screenings, seminars and discussions, yoga, poetry readings, performances and much much more. 939 Chung King Road will house the POVevolving Print Studio. The Print Studio Division of the company provides large format archival printing services, scanning, limited editions production and more. In addition to a wide range of digital solutions, the print studio will also have an etching press with an in house print making super hero for your traditional printmaking needs. Our first exhibition, titled “Hello Comrade! : Bring a Friend,” is set to open on the 7th of June, 2008. For this exhibition, we invited a good handful of artists that we have worked with in the past to select one piece for the show. In addition, each invited artist was encouraged to invite one of their artist comrades to select a piece for the show. Its guaranteed to be a great kick start to a exciting future at our new China Town location. The opening reception for the exhibition will be Saturday, June 7th from 7-11pm. This is the same night as the CalArts MFA Exhibition closing party so it will be quite a night on Chung King Road.

We are launching with a 20% discount offer on Large Format Digital Printing. We can print as small as 8x10 and up to the 44x120" range. Our printer can accomodate a WIDE range of media; papers of all sorts, canvas, adhesive vinyl, vellum, tyvek, vinyl...and lots more. We are using a large format epson printer with Ultrachrome K3 inks...rich colors, amazing b+w prints, and highly archival.
