POVevolving Gallery & Print Studio Presents: “How Well Do You Remember?”, a commemorative exhibition featuring the works of the late Phoebe Washer. Phoebe was at the beginning of a very promising career when her life was cut short by a tragic accident. She was a gifted, essentially self taught artist whose works show a depth of feeling and spirit rare in someone so young. The show at POVevolving will feature a number of Phoebe’s paintings and sculptures as well as works by a number of her artist friends and mentors who have each created works specifically for the show.
Participating artists include, Attaboy, Huck G, Will Smith, Todd Barricklow, Leigh Barbier, David Best, Phoebe’s young protege Stella Brown and many others. Nearly 20 artists in all have donated works for this show. The donated pieces will benefit the newly formed Phoebe Washer Foundation for the Arts.
Limited Editions of some of Phoebe’s most memorable pieces will be released at the opening and will subsequently be available at POVeditions.com. A preview of the prints is available in the ‘News’ section of POVevolving.com.
